Boom diameter on Capri 16.5 (PIC)

Searching for 1st sailing boat 27-28, 34-36 Channel Islands, Marina Del Rey
Looking for the boom diameter for a Catalina 16.5 Capri.

I was wondering if I can mount a GoPro Roll bar mount ( Fits 1.4" to 2.5" (3.5cm – 6.35cm) diameter tubes) to the end of the boom.
