Boom Arrangement on Hunter Legend 37 1988

Does anyone have knowledge on how all the sheets(lines) work through the boom of the legend 37. My reef # 1 works fine but my reef line # 2 dosen't pull the sail down at the mast head only down at the end of the boom. I'm not sure how all these lines actually work.Is there a site where I can view the boom in an exploded picture form or where I can see how all the lines and sheets opereate on the legend 37.ThanksBarrie

No second reef line

On a stock 88' Legend, they only come with a provision for (1) reef. This is done thru a system of blocks inside the boom and 2 blocks outside (DO NOT TAKE THE BOOM APART), most likely someone added a line for the second reef that only goes to the back of the sail, in the front you will have to manually lower the sail and use the reef hook. The only way to have single line reefing for the second reef is to purchase a kit that mounts outside of the boom.
