I don't run Firefox, but the browser should give you the option of putting the new bookmark where you want it. I just tried in Chrome, and that's the behaviour. Sorry I can't help with your question about welding the pivot hole.

Why not just start a thread on welding the pivot hole?

Give the address a descriptive name and put it in a folder which you can easily forget  .

I'm using Firefox on Android 15. Let's see if I can help explain it.
  • On the page you want to bookmark, if you don't see the address bar at the bottom of the screen, swipe down for the address bar to pop up.
  • On the lower right of the address bar you should see 3 vertical dots (the menu button). Press that.
  • The 2nd line down should be the "Bookmarks" menu item. On the the right hand side should be a hollow star with the word "Add" next to it. Click on "Add". You should get a popup notification "Saved in Bookmarks".
  • Click on the menu button (3 vertical dots) again. The same menu should show up. The second item should still be Bookmarks and to the right the star should be filled and the "Add" option should be changed to "Edit".
  • Click on the "Bookmarks" menu item. That should show all your bookmarks in a list.
To edit the title:
  • In the bookmark you want to change, click on the 3 vertical dots to the right of the page listing. A menu should show up.
  • Click on Edit.
  • On the edit screen, the page title is shown in the top field and the address is shown on the bottom field. You'll probably want to just change the title screen.
  • When done, press the back arrow at the top of the screen.

The software running the SBO forums has a book marking feature separate from bookmarking with a browser. It also allows for adding labels so you can keep track of the bookmarks.

To bookmark within the SBO software, click on the ribbon in the upper right hand corner of a post.

To access any bookmarks you created, click on your screen name in the upper right hand corner and select Bookmarks.

Depending on your screen geometry you might not have a screen name in your upper right hand corner. If you don’t you can get to it from the “hamburger” menu left of the Sailboatowners header.

Then tap the little person icon and your should see the bookmark menu.
