Hi Guys,
I just called Deer Harbor requesting a slip for Albin Vega Rendezvous, and have
been put on a waiting list for a slip.
He mentioned that we may have to do some rafting up, as it is their busiest time
of the year. He said that the harbor is a great place for anchoring out; that
its a fluid situation, and that we both should keep in contact.
Thought I would share this information, so that others who are planning to
attend should inform the Marina of the intended presence if they have not
already done so.
My boat is a Rhodes 22, called "Gentle Breeze." She has a blue hull, white
deck; and I would be launching from Skyline Marina in the Fidalgo Head area,
close to Washington Park on the Evening of the June 30th, or on the morning of
Friday July 1st.
I'm looking forward to meeting some experienced sailors, and getting a closer
look at the Albin Vega. She sounds like a most impressive boat.
