Pic taken by Catalina Owners forum member todoc yesterday morning from the Harlem Avenue bridge spanning the Cal Sag Channel (south side of Chicago for those wondering), temperature hovering around 19° F. Only about 975 miles remain to Mobile! Brrrrrrrrrrrr

wish it was me, instead of my boat being on jackstands in st joe. when can they restep their mast? are they making the return trip in spring?

Tenn-Tom it is...

They're headed to the Ten-Tom and the plan is to step the mast in Mobile before heading for the Keys, Bahamas and ending up for the winter in the Caribbean. The long range plan is to head back to Chicago in the spring up the eastern seaboard, but there's a 'crew pool bet' in place with when/if dates for that actually happening. The 'worst case' bet is not getting past Cairo, Illinois! Oh, yea of little faith!
