Bomar Hatches

I own a '83 Hunter 30. The gasket material on both my Bomar hatches, the forward and maincabin hatch have lost their elasticity. I can see light through them and they leak in a driving rain. Any idea where I can get replacement gasket material?Thanks

...but your hatches are probably not still made! Search the web or look in the Boat/US or West catalogs and you can see what they currently make. Good luck--all of us Hunter owners with 25-30' boats made in the 70's and early 80's are in the same predicament.

Bomar Parts

Your hatches were probably made by Gray, which is now Bomar. You can reach them at 603-826-5791. They have a website, (http://www.pompanette.com) but it's under re-construction until about 8/99. If indeed your hatches are made by Gray, then my old 1992 catalog lists your gasket kits as: GP904-02 Gasket Kit for hatch up to 16" X 16" and GP904-03 Gasket Kit for hatch up to 24" x 24".Hope this helps.
