I'm trying to plan an two-night cruise from SF to Bodega Bay and back. I am concerned about the possible sea conditions returning to SF as we will be cutting it close to ebb by the time we get to back to the Gate. Ebb + Gate (+swells+wind) = nasty ride. Anyone with experience coming south from Bodega to SF? About how much time should we allow to cover the 48-49MN leg? On a good day we can do about 7kts. Slack is 1133 at GG, 3.5 max ebb at 1422 - I figure that makes for a 5AM departure from Bodega - way too early on a Sunday morning for me. And what's the weather usually like around the end of April in the Farallons?
