Hey Bob, I see your from E.Greenwhich R.I. Is this where you live, keep you boat or both. We got a slip this year in Nortons. I called thirty places and it was the only slip available. It's a nice area and I'm sure we'll enjoy it. Our boat is a C36 named "BEAU JOUET" beautiful toy in french... Hope to see you out there.... Thanks, Chris Hyland

Hi Chris

I live in NH but keep the boat in RI...Norton's as well. Launching in a couple of weeks. Can't wait. Right now the boat (O'Day 272LE) is sitting on the hard right in front of West Bay Yacht Club. You might want to pop in and join the club. Cruizin...racin...etc. See you on the water soon. Cheers, Bob

Hey Bob

Our boat is over in East Passage right now. It will go in the water last week of March first week of April after all the trades get done with thier respective work on her. We're novices so don't be shocked by the number of questions we ask... See ya in a few weeks....

RI sailing

Hi Chris, Bob & Ray. We are right next door @ Brewer's. We have an O'Day 23 named MAKATA. We are novice sailors. Narraganset Bay is a great place to learn. Last year was our first season. Next summer we are going to practice navagation by charting then finding the 27 lighthouses in RI. That should keep us busy for a couple of summers.

Hi Ray

My old boat, Lazybones, was hanging right next door to you. That was a C&C 25. New one is an O'Day 272LE. I'll be in the water in another couple of weeks.

Hi Bob

Thanks for the reply. I have thought about joining the West Bay yacht club but was hesitent since my wife (crew) is not interested in racing etc. I was wondering if others will crew or I crew for them. Let me know about the club. I will be in the water about May 1. I stoe at Carsons.

Name?

Bob, PS What is the name of your boat so I can say hi when I see you.

New boat name...

...will be the same as the old...Lazybones. Nope, I'm not superstitious. BTW, WBYC isn't just about racing. We have a cruising schedule and outings. Additionally, one of our members, Capt. Paul Shaw, holds educational seminars for members at reduced tuition. As far as racing goes, people will crew for you, or you can get on a boat. Your choice. Hope to see you at the club! Cheers, Bob
