Has anyone here shopped with the online company "Boater's World"? The prices look good, but a friend told me he had heard they were going out of business. sailgirl

I used to frequent the one on Atlantic Beach, NC because I found their prices to be slightly better. WM needs the competition so I hope they survive.
I think you'll find that the online store at this site has just about anything you'll find at Boaters World, at VERY competitive prices. Check it out!
The retail store by us closed down, liquidated inventory and I see that it has reopened under a different name. Check it out before handing over your hard earned cash. I googled on the net that they are or were a subsidiary of of Ritz Cameras who filed for bankruptcy and were liquidating stores to raise cash. This has been a while so things may have changed. Purchased a dingui from them years back ($1000) and was very pleased with shipping and service; but that was then. Check their web site endorser organizations and if you feel comfortable with them would not see a reason not to give them a try.
