OK...so when my boat was on the hard at the beginning of the season at a distant boat yard, the guy next to me was coating his freeboard with some type of liquid wax or coating that made his hull shine like the dickens. I recall him saying that he put "a few" coats of this stuff on (seemed to go on like tire shine goes on car tires with an applicator) and that it lasted the entire season. It certainly dried really hard and beautifully shiny. Unfortunately I was too stupid to ask what this stuff was. Google searching hasn't revealed what this was. Anyone have any ideas?
