Sailing prowess
Seadaddler, If you can sail from VT to Lake Erie, you're sailing skills must be truly magical. By canal, unstepping/restepping is still required, as well as shipping/transporting jackstands and winter cover. Still, I understand Lake Champlain is a great sail. Since I'm not retired, the biggest question is going to be the time commitment.

I know nothing about doing it buy water,thought it could be done by dropping the mast and laying it on deck while traveling some locks and low spots which some do traveling south. Trucking would have to completely strip everything on the mast,I guess I need to look at water ways up north. Nick
