Boat Show access

I called Miamarina this morning to ask about dinghy access. They said that the boat show is taking up the dinghy dock and as far as Miamarina knows there will be no access. I will try the boat show, but in years past they have never taken kindly to questions of any sort. Anybody in the Miami area with any suggestions?

Sure and if it works out, maybe Annapolis in 2012..

You will be a third of the way to Annapolis. You should continue north, check out Maine Sail's waters, then back down for the 2012 show on the way home. That was my October stop in 2007 on the way to Tampa. And what a great sailing and anchoring area, loved the Chesapeake. One friend got the closest remaining mooring to the boat show. They pull a lot of the moorings to make room.

Wind forecast here is on the nose tomorrow and Wednesday on the way to Sanibel, then still, motor to Marco, then good strong tailwinds. Should get us well into the 10,000 islands where it will be warmer and sunnier.

Got 3 "not my job " responses from Boat Show, and one not my job, but I thought the dinghy dock would be for dinghys. The man everyone referred us to is closing the chicago show. Maybe I'll call him tomorrow.
