The Admiral and I went for the day out to the Coronado Islands off of San Diego yesterday. We saw a private helicopter flying low a few miles outside the harbor. A few minutes late they took a tight turn around us. Boat pics was on a pontoon. I looked at a few other blogs that were from around 2007. The people that actually did business with the mostly said good stuff about them and their service. On blog was asked the question of "Any one bought pics from them.". The whole thread was about wasit legal to take a pix of you and your boat and sell it to someone other than you. I looked at their site and it looked like they wanted your CC# and they would send you a packet of photos you keep the ones you like, within a certain time period and they charge you for what you don't return. The blogs indicated that it was wise to send the pics back registered to prove they got them. I am making some assumptions here and asking the question again here if anyone has bought pics from them recently and how they looked them. We were hoping to get a 8 x 10 or a little larger. Seems their bread and butter is a large $250 photo, which is way too much for us. The $75 was steep but maybe doable if it was a good shot. Comments?
