I'm planning on moving the challenger to my backyard to work on it. Any ideas on issues? The first and formost is zoning. Beyond that, I'm wondering if most cranes can lift the weight of the challenger. My initial thoughts on the above are:
1) as long as the boat is not visible from the street, most zoning laws won't address it (it will be OK). Are zoning laws usually city or county based?
2) I can have a crane meet the truck at our home and lift the boat (over the house or garage) into the backyard.
I haven't confirmed the above two points, if you think I may be off base, please let me know. We don't have a house yet, but these plans are starting to move faster and we may know within a few weeks where we'll be moving.
