Hunting for basic liability insurance ($100K) for an older 26' in excellent condition. Some insurers won't cover older boats - bummer. Don't they know we keep them in awesome condition? Does anyone have any suggestions of insurers I can contact for "reasonable rates" that ocver basic liability and the boat/trailer (value about $10K)? Oregon Sailor

Try State Farm. I checked around and found that they had a great rate. $300,000.00 for $60.00 per year.

My Farmers agent insured my 20 footer for 120 a year. It is 31 years old
