Back in the early 80's the Sea Scouts out of Chicago IL. sailed a 12 meter ex- Americas Cup vessel. Does anyone know what her name is or was? I remember her BLOWING by us on many occasions; during races (Irwin 33, at that time). She was beautiful...

Heritage... Thanks to you all

I managed to talk to the Captian I sailed under in those days, 1982 - 1994. It was the Heritage. She was a beautiful 12 meter wood hulled ship. Only other ship that has held my awe over the years was the Consititution in Boston harbor. If you have a chance to visit her (Constitution) do so, it is amazing.
