i have a 1973 oday daysailer i am restoring. after stripping 30 years of various hand painted paints of it i discovered its original color is a orangey/ red. is there a awlgrip or imron color that is close in match or a brochere with the color option chart to match to. any help is appreciated. thanks

Rudy Nickerson of D&R Marine may be able to answer that question. He may even know who still carries that Gelcoat, if you want to go that route. Also, If you are able to do all the prep work which would save you some money, there's a guy at Shaw's Boatyard in Dighton that does excellent Gelcoat work. He could provide that boat with the closest match than anyone I've seen yet. I'm very familiar with that color. One of our past members has a day sailer similar to yours that he named "Tangerine."
