Watching my teenagers STRUGGLE to come aboard our Hunter 25 with a 3 step boarding ladder has made me realize that if I ever go over the side when single-handing, I'll be in trouble. It's been a long time since I was as agile or light as they are.I've been wondering how to extend the boarding ladder another step or two, without spending a lot to replace it. Do those "add a step" products work well? What about attaching a boarding stirrup to the lower rung?
