For the 3rd time in 1.5 years my refrigerator has stopped working for no apparent reason. I went through the trouble shooting portion of the owners manual and checked the fuses, and for the 3rd time the fuse was bad. I changed the fuse at the unit, turned the power back on at the panel. Immediately there was a snap sound and the refer did not start. I checked the fuse again and it was bad.(hence the snap sound) I repeated the process with the same results.I am using a 15 amp fuse as per the manual. As I said.....this is the 3rd time that the same thing has happened. I have had the Adler/Barbour repairman down twice before for the same problem, only to be told that it is the curcuit module (about $300 each ) I am having trouble believing that this modual doesn't have a longer life span. I believe my problem is something other than the module My thanks to anyone who can help me with this problem.

The polarity is correct or it would not have run before. The problem IS in the module. If you send it to me, I will send you a replacement. Who is doing the work on your system? I ask because $300. is quite high to diagnose a simple module fault.
