I have a Hunter 340 on my control panel I have a switch labeled blower when I switch it to the "on" position, a red light comes on but I do not hear any noise ANYWHERE. Searching in all my books I can find no listing or info regarding this topic. Any ideas on what I have. I assume it is to clear out any fumes from the lower compartments however I do not hear any noise. Open to your thoughts. Tom

My thought is you have a generic panel on a boat with no blower which, with a diesel, is unnecessary.
Don: I believe that Hunter added these blowers on some models because of the heat build up in the engine compartment. I agree that they are not provided for fuel fumes.
I agree. The best way for you to find out is to open the panel up and see if anything is connected to the switch. You're there, we're not. 
If you don't have a 3" hose in your engine compartment and the in line blower, you don't have one. Hunter just used the generic panels like Don stated. I played hide and seek looking for a blower as well. It is wired to the CB panel and the wires are in the engine wire bundle if you want to add one. On my boat all of the wire drops were installed for every option. This did make it easy when I added a frige and sump pump as the wiring was already completed.
I have the same breaker on my 410 and don't have a blower. I think this is for a blower if you have a generator.
But then I have lots of unused wires in my panel. 1 AC that does go anywhere, some type of signal wire that may be for a power winch or TV. I wanted to use 1 couple weeks ago but just gave up and ran a wire that I knew where it went.
