Has anyone installed an exhaust blower in the engine compartment of a H25.5 with an inboard Yanmar 1GM10 diesel. I am considering this to 1.) exhaust some of the heat which builds up during long times of motoring. 2.) to remove some more of the smelly oil fumes ( normal engine smells that my wife doesn't like) and 3.) to provide cooler fresh air for the engine. I would be interested to know if the blower improved any of the above criteria and also would like to know where you placed the exhaust port in the cockpit or transom.
