Bloopers ???

OK, in the old days on our 33ft boat we had a blooper. Yes it matched the color of the spinnaker. Does anyone in the community have an idea where I can find a blooper for a C&C33-35 size boat. It totally helped while sailing dead down wind.

I am very OK if the sail colors do not match, it would match my personality ?????

For what boat? Your Hunter 340? That boat/rig does NOT need a blooper; the main is big enough to offset the power of the spinnaker.

Bloopers are pretty much out of style given the asymmetric revolution. I would think it's a buyer's market on the used sail market. I wonder if a sailmaker would react with a
"Wait...what..." regarding a new order. It's not an area where they are looking for growth in their businesses.

You are very correct about the Hunter 34. That vessel is long gone. The new venture is a re-fit of one of the original Viking 34's built in 1975. We had one of the 33's that were modified to a 34, and it really enjoyed a blooper. The sail plan is very similar to a C&C35, and that will be the direction of replacing sails. The blooper is the most difficult sail to find, in roughly the correct size. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL..........

Fixed for you. Little Brit Cup. Mix big air venue with (mostly) rookie crews and spinnakers. Zaniness reigns.
