... I dock a sailboat! It's snowing all over the midwest and northeast today. Those of you in sunnier climates planning your long weekends on the water, enjoy your good fortune.
Last night a light snow was falling and my daughter had Christmas music on in her room! I however put on a sailing CD and read my latest copy of " Latitudes and Attitudes" from cover to cover. Only(??)five more months before the boat will be back in the water, I hope I will make it!
Dont fell bad, Five months isn't that long. Lookat my problem. 1-We have no snow to enjoy. 2-I only have one copy of Texas parks and wildlife "June Issue"But I can be thankful that my boat is in the water and my first mate and I will be spending christmas thru New years on board with cabin heat in full force, sailing the waters of lake Texoma.
The snow is flying here in WV. The little sailboat is stored under the porch waiting for spring, the new sailboat is shipping from CA this week or next. It's cross county skiing season now. One needs many hobbies to keep the body and mind active and alive. Everyone have a happy thanksgiving.
