I’ve had what I will call “pimples” on the hull of my 1998 H26. (See attached photos) The history – Boat delivered Feb ’98. No bottom paint. Used from April to Oct. in warm fresh water The first summer – no signs of problem. Second year, no problem At the end of the third year (2000), there was a 10 square foot area on one side just below the water line that had dark raised spots – about 3/16 inch in diameter, and about 3 inches apart. Boat taken to dealer and that area repaired by warranty. Fourth year, boat kept in cold (salt) water. No bumps. Fifth year, back to the warm water, few bumps on both sides, but not many and they went away after a couple of months on the trailer. Pulled the boat this last Oct, quite a few all over the hull and three of them had “blown out”. They apparently got large enough to pop the gel coat. Made a crater about 3/8 of an inch in diameter and a 1/16 deep. At this time, the bumps have reduced to the point that you can’t see them. (Again, see attached photos). I’m going to ASSUME that I need to sand the gel coat lightly, put a water barrier coat on (like Interlux 2000), and bottom paint. Your opinion is appreciated.

Your photos aren't clear but from your post

it sounds like you have a defective boat. Get back to your dealer. You have a problem. Modern boats should not do that. The problem came up 'under warranty'. It is still a problem and the fact that the warranty expired should not matter.
