I have noticed some pictures of mini-blinds on the fixed ports of Catalina sailboats like mine (Cat-30MkII), The only ones I have been able to find are prohibitively expensive. Has anyone found realistically-priced adjustable blinds?

Is anything realistically priced on boats? Take a look at the Zarcor peek-a-boo blinds. I still have my original accordion style blinds but the elastic parts need to be replaced. A winter project

Franz,

I bought PVC mini-blinds @ China....er, I mean Home Depot some years back.
I measured the differing port widths & brought them to the boat.
I then I untied the strings on the bottom frame & removed blinds until I got the correct height & it was easy to do.

I found a picture to give you an idea of what my blinds look like pal.

Many thanks. I think they look good. Especially considering the cost difference.

I took reflectix and cut to the shape of the windows. keep it in when off the boat to protect the fabrics from the sun. made a nice thermal barrier too. it is installed by tension, looking to add some hooks and cords to keep it from coming out under way.
