Bleeding fuel line for C27

I have a 1990 C27 with an H18 Universal (diesel). Can anyone assist me with pics showing where the appropriate bleeds are to the fuel lines. Any documentation I've seen so far are generic in nature and not specific to my engine.

I just did this on mine but no pics. What problem are you experiencing? This will help in explaining where to begin bleeding. Are you just changing fuel filters or do you have water in fuel or ?

I'm just changing filters. I was advised that I might need to bleed the lines as there's a good chance I"d introduce air into the lines. I"ll need to know best approach for changing them so as to minimize risk. But more importantly how to bleed the
Lines in the likely event that it happens.

Your engine should have a similar knurled knob over the injection pump.

Also read about your engine at www.marinedieseldirect.com, which includes bleeding instructions and photos of engines with parts identified.

If just changing filters make sure you fill filter with fresh diesel before installing, that will minimize air in system, I did not get any and have had no problems. However, read the thread Stu suggests, it was very helpful to me a few months ago when I had condensation seep into my system. It only took a teaspoon to foul the system after a week of subzero weather.

I have cataline27 and I installed a beta diesel in to mine when Ichange filters I fill the new filter with fuel press the compression relief button and turn the engin over this will pump fuel through the system with out starting the engine .I also remove the impler from my water pump.Make sure you shut seawater intake to you cooling system.This pevent you from pumping water into the heads of the motor

Yes, M18.
So it's just a matter of going thru the appropriate diagrams under the various groupings to get an idea of the bleeds.
