So I have a Catalina 22 stored in a 12'x26' canopy, the other day after some rain and high winds came thur I went to check on her and found that a robin has been hanging out in there. Long story short there is bird poo all over the foredack and cockpit. I've washed it with some boat and hull cleaner but every were there was a spot there is now a stain. Is there something on the market that is good at taking out hevay set stains or am I looking at something more.

I have good luck with

Amazing Roll-Off. West Marine sells it, but I have found better prices on the internet.

I did it

I suffered a similar bird poo issue. I had Seagulls and terns. I listened to the dead wrong advice of a poster here to use Hydrochloric acid. First I water Blasted the poo, no Luck, Then On-Off, nada, Chlorox, Fantastic, Zip. Then I listened to one of the posters here. Hydrochloric. Trip to the masonary supply since HD doestn carry it. $8 gallon plus $20 in protective gear. The bird poo is impervious to Hydrochloric Acid. So a wasted day due to a lame poster on this site who doesn't know acid from base. Aha. I should have known. If the acid ON-Off does'nt work try a base. Yes. Cascade Liquid Jell with a nylon bristle scrub brush. IT works. Cheap and you can use the leftover in the dishwasher. Dishwasher soap is caustic not acid

Since bird poop is organic you might try Simple Green. We also have luck with vinegar on bird stains. FSR (Fiberglass Stain Remover, a blue gel) is a more powerful tool. When all else fails we use Soft Scrub with bleach and elbow power.
