Biodegradable cleaners-exterior part of the boat

What type of cleaners are best to use for cleaning the grit of the exterior top surface area of a hunter 31. I would like to use a product, which will not harm the enviroment, but do a good job of cleaning. Just vinigar and water. Also the tools best to clean it with, soft bristol brush etc.

Robert: There are a lot of options. First you can use any of the boat soaps. West Marine makes a good deck cleaner. Then there is Simpile Green. Some of the site members recommend toiliet bowl cleaner. You can also use the Island Girl products. When you get a real tough spot a little soft scrub can be used.
