Binding sail slugs

I have a V21. I put the nylon sail slugs with the stainless steel bails on the mainsail. for several yeras things went well but yesterday the slugs bound so badly that I could not hoist the mainsail. Any ideas??Sincerely,Harry HowellLake Conroe TX

Stubborn Slugs

Try spraying silicone into the sail track. We do it several times during the year and those slugs slide up the mast without hesitation!

Dry LUBE !

Highly recommend PTFE Dry Lubricant for sail slugs and rigging blocks(McLube Sailkote). Any wet lubricant will coolect GUNK from dust and deposit it IN your your track and bearings. happy sailing.......dan
