Does anyone have any feedback about sailing with a bimini top up, does the bimini take too much wind and get destroyed?. I was looking at the back of Main Brace ,they say you can sail with it up. Thanks John Cat 22 new owner

Sail with it !!
I sail with mine all the time its great. Powerboats use them all the time so it takes a great deal of wind to blow one off, and if its blowing that hard you have other thigs to worry about

I installed a bimini on my 22 two years ago to prevent sun exposure and reduce skin cancer risk. It functions well except when I must got to the bow I have to crawl under it to get there. I also installed slides at the connection points on the boat to allow adjustment forwards or aft.In heavy winf, I fold it down to allow quick bow access.
