bimini top

Anyone with an Oday 25 know the dimensions required for a bimini top. My boat is in storage 60 miles away. I do know that anything I get will need to be retro fitted to allow the backstay to fit through it, and possibly an eisenglass window to view the main. Thanks for your help

on my 23 i found some advantages to fitting the top just back to the rear stay. it leaves just enough room to stand to receive supplys from the dock, cast a fish line, tend a rear anchor, or tie a dock line. also if you ever exit a dingy and use your transom boarding ladder, having a little room back there allows taller people to step over the rear rail, instead of ducking under it. good luck!

I've got the bimini that the PO used. It sat for a while and is some mildewed. I thinks it's vinyl. I don't remember, I haven't used it and don't intend to. It's yours if you want it. If it's shippable.

Joe - this is the only picture i have. the sun in Florida is so hard on tops that are left out, that i use cheap "refill material" this one is stretched out and saggy but i replace it every year and use the same frame. Spring is coming!

Thanks Rich but I think I'll pass on it. It will fit on sdstef's O'Day 25 a lot better than my 222.

Thanks Lance for posting the pic. I'm going to try to get up some money to recover my cabin mattresses this year if I can. As for a Bimini top, I guess I'll use my "poor sailor's Bimini Top" again when it gets too hot this summer.
