Sounds like you want to install a pre-fabricated bimini vs. make one your self from a kit (from Sail Rite). A bimini can be installed on on all sizes of small boats and dinghy's, including Macgregor venture 17 like the one below. Lots of places to buy on-line where you make the measurements yourself to their specifications,, have them fabricate one and then you install it OR your local canvas shop and have them take the measurements and fabricate and install on for you. Show pics of the final installation and where you purchased it.
