Go for the 7 foot version
John,I put a Bimini on my 1996 H26 in 1997. The dealer recommended the six footer, as it is less likely to interfere with the boom. The problem is, it interferes with using the seats. From some of the threads on this site, many people seem to be happy with the seven foot version. Either way, you will need to move the attachment point on the boom for the mainsheet. I would also recommend a window as the mast wind indicator and sail tell tails are almost inpossible to read. Fixed support poles for the rear mounts of the bimini might improve the accessability to the stern rail seats. This year we left the bimini in the garage the whole season. But it's pretty cool up here in Wisconsin, so the sun is usually welcome.Mike PajewskiH26 "Loon"
