I am wondering if ayone can recommend a good loft for canvas work in the NY CT area. I would like to have a bimini/ dodger combination made including frame. I was also wondering about what I can expect to pay. Any ideas would be appreciated. Eric

I'm not sure if New Haven is too far to travel but Fairclough Sailmakers does really nice work. I priced a replacement dodger and a bimini last year and I think $2000 is probably somewhere in the area for a custom unit.

Island Nauctic, City Island N.Y. as big as City Island is you could walk there ! A friend had them make a bimini and sail cover.Was several years ago and was priced reasonable workmanship was good.Them have lots of patters in stock or being you are so close they could come to your boat for any custom measurments if needed. I just had them do a "tune up" which included new glass and zippers. They did a super job. The price was very reasonable.
