Bimini Questions

We have a H33 and want to add a bimini so my wife doesn't have to wear a birka all summer. Our local dealer says he can get us one through Hunter at the cost of $2200. Am i the only one who thinks this is a bit excessive? We are located on the north shore of Boston. Looking for all and any advise. J&R

We ordered one from this site and have been very pleased

If you like the "standard" layout/configuration, the process is very simple. If you want a custom setup, the canvas shop here works very hard to make sure you get what you want. Custom biminis require a LOT of measuring but that is to make sure it fits properly. We saved ~ $600 over a local shop (who does very good work but too much $ IMHO). New Bimini

I ordered SS bow kits from SailRite and had my local canvas shop build the canvas incorporated with my arch. With the included window and the loops for the boat hook I'm very happy.Dennis W.S/V FullSailed

Custom Bimini

I had a custom bimini made for my Hunter 33 C two seasons ago by a semi-local shop. Custom fitted to the aft contours of the narrow stern of the 33, mounting to the aft rail. It cost $1350 and the guy came out to measure and again to fit the framework when it was ready.
