Hi Folks who have a Bimini on a 23, I'd like to know what to consider when looking at a bimini for a boat this size, I've talked to a canvas outfit and also to Ameriseam (has a prefit H23 Bimini). The problem with the Ameriseam solution is that I think I would not be able to see the Mainsail to trim and I could not stand. I think a solution could be to mount a bimini from just forward of the backstay back about 3'10" but make it level with the boom. This way I have standing room and I could look forward enough to see the main. Has anyone with the standard Ameriseam bimini encounterd these issues? Would I be interfereing with anything else (assuming I clear the boom) If I go with the second solution. As always, Thanks for your advice and discussion! Chuck (Windsongs)
