Ameriseam

I have a 96 h23.5 with an Ameriseam Bimini that seems to fit very well under the boom. It makes sailing far more pleasant under those hot sunny days! Their phone # is 1-800-755-7221. In 1996 a bimini top for that model was about $300 (part number H02 23.5). Good luck!

Ameriseam has a good one.

What's a "waveon"? I own a '93 model 23.5. A few years ago, I bought a very nice Bimini from Ameriseam (I think they're on the web). It is made of aqua-colored sunbrella and cost about $400. I especially like it because it provides plenty of seated headroom and companionway clearance. It also folds nicely atop the transom rail when the sun goes down -- though that makes the swim ladder totally non-functional (most sane folks down here in N.O. don't swim after dusk, anyway. I, however, do.) The front and rear straps allow for most adjustments necessary. Two negative points: almost impossible to view main, windex, etc. when deployed -- and, it has plastic fittings at all the stress points. The first cannot be remedied in my opinion, but -- though somewhat pricey -- the second problem can be with some simple refitting. No breaks have ocurred in original fittings, however, and it's probably mostly a mental thing on my part that it is any kind of potential problem. I like what appears to be sturdy, I guess. Wave on, Dude.
