we just purchased a 1984 catalina 25. we are wanting to install a bimini, one that we would keep up and use while under sail. problem is we only have approx. 30 inches from the bottom of the boom to the deck, (mounting area). all of the bimini's listed in west marine are 36 inches tall. anyone have a solution this problem? thanks, mark

Hi Mark - We sell bimini's here in the CatalinaOwners.com Chandlery. We can make them based on your measurments so they can be at any height. Another consideration is a stern rail mounted bimini. This will only work on your boat, however, if the mainsheet does not attach to the stern of the boat. You can vew and price both coaming and rail mount bimini's in the Chandlery. I have listed the link below. If you have any questions, call us or send an email through the Customer Service link. We'll get back to you with answers within one business day.
