I got a nice stainless steel bimini with real Sunbrella fabric off Craigslist for $140. It was an almost perfect fit! I took some bimini mounting ideas from Ken here on this site, and slightly modified his ideas. I tapped the genoa track to mount the main mount. These were bought off eBay. There is a guy that sells some real nice statinless steel boat hardware, and usually has free shipping. Look in the sailboat hardware section on eBay, he's always got ton's of items listed. These were the angled mounts,(which worked perfect on our MK-II), and they were less that $5.50 each with free shipping! I installed some fiberglass stock to isolate the stainless steel from the aluminum track. If I don't like the stationary mount, I can always steal Ken's idea, and plug the holes with a set screw. If you drill and tap the genoa track, be CAREFULL! It's hard aluminum,
so take your time. To secure the straps, I installed a 1/4" eye bolt forward,(this also prevents someone from stealing your genoa blocks), and used a 1/4" eye nut using the existing hole on the rear rail mounting. 3M 4200 was used to seal everything. Seems to work jusy fine.
