I want to install a bimini on my Hunter 42. It attaches to the rear arch. Will I have headroom to stand? I am 6' tall and I am just shorter than the boom. What do we do if I am too tall?

At 6' you will probably be abbout at the limit. I'm 5-9 and have plenty of room but there is some gap between. the top and the boom

With the main sail up (reg. batten main) you should have much more than 6'-0. On our 94 P-42 we had over 6'-0 height under our Bimmi. I also am 6'-0 and did no have a problem. With the main down and covered, I did need to raise the boom to have clearance over the Bimmi.
