Has anyone had a bimini made for a Hunter 23 and what were the dimensions, pro/cons, etc. I appreciate the help!

23 Bimini

I have an Ameriseam bimini on my 90-23. Fits well, works good, it even fits under my boom. Have to swing boom over to put up. Once up, can sail with bimini up. My wife loves it. Ameriseam 800-755-7221. I understand that they have the hunter patterns and use to make all Hunter canvas. Check with them. R. Wheeler "Rapuzha"

Got one too...

It came with the boat when I bought it from the previous owner. I'm not sure who made it. I can leave it up while sailing and it makes a huge difference on those really hot days. I would recommend Ameriseam. They just made me a new sail cover and it was very well done. Peter S/V Raven

SHADE

I was also in the market for a bimmini top for the up comming summer. I found a nice product called Anchorshade for about $180 through Overtons.com. It fits just right on the H23 and covers the whole cockpit area. Check it out online. For the money, I dont think you can beat it.

Bimini here too

I had an Ameriseam made last year for my 1992 H23. They did a great job. If you have a split backstay, for some reason, it is not included in the original pattern they have. I had to call them, take additional measurements they asked for, and send it back. They added velcro/zippers to allow the split stay to go through. They were very fast and it is great. I can sail with it on and it stowes against the backstay. Good luck
