Can anyone advise me on the purchase and installation of a bimini for my Hunter 280 which has end boom sheeting. I realize that the bimini would be smaller because of the main sheet, but would still like one for sun protection.
I have a 95' 29.5. We had to place the bimini under the boom, it covers half of the cockpit. Try to make a dodger and a small bimini over the stanchion's seats.
Don, go look in the PHOTO FORUM, I posted pictures of my 29.5 with end boom sheeting and an AmeriSeam bimini. Two boats down from my slip is a 280 with the same bimini from AmeriSeam so I know they make one for your boat.
