I went to the raytheon site and searched for a M92649 and get nothing. These do not appear to be part numbers for either the ST60 or ST80 compass system. What is an M92649? As I understand it, the functions will work, but I may want to add the 10HZ compass if I'm unsatisfied with the results of the overlay and marpa function. Thanks.

M92649

M92649 is a standalone active compass that has either a Seatalk or NMEA 10Hz output. The M81190 is the standard compass with an analog output. The M81190 is used with the ST60 compass instrument or any of the autopilot systems with a remotely mounted compass. You r ST4000 uses the M81190. This does not have a 10Hz output.
