I have a 1971 model Daysailer I that I have owned for a few years. She has developed a crack in the floor of the boat a few inches in front of the seat. I plan to do some epoxy work on it but I see that it is oozing water from below. How much space is there between the hull and the floor of the boat. If it is filed with water does that present a problem for the boat or its sailing performance? Should this water be bailed out somehow? Your expertise is appreciated. Richard G
