Bilge pump

The bilge is not being pumped out even though the bilge pump appears to run when I turn it on. It makes quite a racket too but I think this is normal. I suspect the hoses are blocked with debris and I am planning to replace them. The section of hose between the bilge and the pump runs behind and below the panel on the starboard side. Does any one know if the hose is accessible? I don't want to remove the woos panel and find that I have to cut through fiberglass. Or is the technique a pull-push through of the hose from either end?

Try closing your valves to the sink and toilet under the vanity in the head..you may not have enough vacuum to pump out the bildge if they are open

bilge filter

If the valve solution doesn't work, clean out the filter for the bilge. You should also flush the lines with some cleaner.
