Bilge pump type and placement?

I'd like to put in an electric bilge pump in my 26S. Any suggestions on where to place it, what type (automatic or manual swith), where to run the discharge, and size pump would be helpfull.Thank you.Robert

Hey Robert,I have three bilge pumps. Located...one under each quarter berth and one in the lazarette. They are all Rule 360's with float switches. The wiring from previous owner runs to a dual auto/manual switch for each pump. Drain tubes runs to thru-hulls just above the waterline near the transom.Hope this helps.
