With all the heavy rains we've have been experiencing I felt I should install an automatic bilge pump. My problem is the bilge is small (narrow and shallow). It doesn't seem to be an easy install. I'm wondering if anyone out there has installed a pump on this model 26 O'Day? Looking for answers or hints for a good install. I thought I could use a small west marine submersible pump and although it fits in the bilge in specific locations it doesn't fit at the lowest part of the bilge where I was hoping it would drain the most water. I also thought I could just run an intake hose to the lowest part but West Marine doesn't make an accessory that would attach to the bottom strainer so that the intake could be in a different location. Please give me some hints. Thanks
