Just one question

Does the Y25Mkii have bilge blower?
And where is it located?

If not, did anyone installed one?

If possible publish a picture.

Thank you

Not normally if you have the YSM8 under the V-berth. Why do you think you need one?

Blower, AFT lazerette starboard side

My boat has it located below the cockpit with the exhaust vent at the starboard aft corner. If you've ever had a exhaust elbow failure and the engine compartment fill with fumes you'll know right away. I run mine anytime I use the engine-- keeps the interior odor free.

time to crawl

Sorry no pic, Crawl back on the starboard aft berth and remove the bulkhead (couple of screws). If you've got one -you'll see it back there !

New bilge blower

I managed to find it... and remove it...
Did anyone changed the blower?
Which model used?

I don't want to be drilling more holes... so it's important to find a new one to fit in the existing ones...

Ideas please...

Thanks people

Now that you have it out, see if you can make it work. Put power on it to make sure it wasn't a bad connection. Check the brushes etc. If massive corrosion isn't an issue then you can probably get it to work.

It's not working at all... and can't be recovered...
I checked with a handyman here who recover electric engines and he said it can't be repaired...too much corrosion...
Need a new one or a electric engine that fits in the place of the old one...

any ideas...

Mine was not working due to bad contact of the brushes which are stucked in the brush holders. Fixed it by cleaning and sanding the brushes.
