I left my inflatable in the water for a couple f months tied behind our 42. I pulled it today and have an entire ecosystem growing on it. Any advice on cleaning all the hard and soft stuff off. Thanks in advance.

Dinghy Growth Clean Up

We did the same thing last summer and found that the entire bottom was loaded with barnicles - 'no more room at the inn'. I used a plastic paint scrapper while all was still wet, then used 'Simple Green' to remove the rest. It took two washings with 'Simple Green' to get the barnicle 'footprints' off, but it workrd. Ice scraper

I usually use and ice scraper. Can you get one down there in Florida? Then a good scrubbing. Then I would suggest that you use bottom paint for the inflatable. All the boat stores sell a latex bottom paint ($35/quart). I do it each season and the quart last for 3-4 applications. And it works very well. Maybe some soft "thingies" will grow (not many) but not barnacles. Good Luck.

Bottom cleaner

Boats stores sell spray on stuff just for this purpose. It helps but does not make the job easy.

Don't ever do that again.

Put bottom paint on it if you do.

LIME AWAY

On tv they advertise chemicals a variety that will desolve calcium, and other minerials, I suggest you deflate your dink, remove the big stuff, and try concentrated desolvers on what woun't come off, then buy some inflatable bottom paint.

BLEACH KILLS ALL

I use Bleach, its cheap. My inflatable is in the water all the time. Pour it on inflatable while up side down on dock. Let sit and gently scrub with green scrub pad. NO PROBLEM. Barnicles do not like bleach.
