This weekend I was up in Bayfield racing with a friend on his Schock 35. He’s rebuilding a crew with some young guns and needed some extra adult supervision. Jodi came up as her sister’s fiancé has a place on Madeline Island were we stayed. Saturday was a big breeze day, 19-22 knots with gusts into the upper twenties. Dallas asked if Jodi could sail as well, and she ended up doing main. In her first big boat race she nailed it. I was very proud. After the race she and the skipper chill and enjoy a beer. Love that lady!
